I find they may be slightly behind public in reading and math though. I have a daughter in the public schools and she is doing things that her brother didn't at the same grade level. This school is not good for anyone with any type of behavior or learning problems as they only have basic teachers with no special needs. St Thomas is a school where the children come first. Each child is encouraged to do their personal best without being labeled. The teachers are highly skilled and work hard to bring out the best in each child. The teachers that I have dealt with are always available is you have any questions or concerns. The principal is kind and knows each child by name and most of the parents. She and her staff are a great example of how a school should be run.”
